i wasnt expecting a straight up R&B album
R&BHey, brehs. I'm new to TD$ - help me out.
Is this dude primarily a singer? Or does he sing and spit bars, too? Pardon the ignorance.
Was just kicking it tonight so I figured I'd give this record some burn. I listened to the album twice and here were the standouts:
Keep in mind: I ain't really an R&B type dude, but this jawn was cool.
- Straight Up
- Solid
- Know Ya
- Blasé
- Actress
Ty Dolla Sign‘s FreeTC isn’t even on the projections chart, which is a bad sign.
Justin Biber, Logic, Jeezy, & Alessia Cara 1st Week Sales Projections – Fashionably-Early
he should have dropped an year ago, his buzz is gone but this album still has some nice cuts to it
His hook on Documentary 2.5 is actually what got me back to listening to this nikka again
He might've been signed all along, seeing how he has been signed to Taylor Gang all along and Taylor Gang has a deal with Atlantic.Honestly... why did Ty sign to a major? He had traction and a decent following that he built before signing. Dude had major hits and features before Atlantic. While the album is good, I can hear some of the compromises he made on it compared to his other work which was just raw... hard on hoes stuff. Yeah I know everything can't be that way on a retail album, but I can see the difference.
He gonna regret signing to a major.
Lupe tried to tell these brehs
"Dooooon't sign"
The song he had on The Weeknds album was the best song, the one on Asaps was one of the best, The one on Tylers best and the ones on Big Seans album were dope perhaps not the best though.
So no I wouldn't say that one bad feature would be the end.
Talking production, the verse sounded like a freestyle idk what he was thinking. As far as verses goes, he did good on this track but the overall song structure/production is mediocre.
Not sure, that would be nice tho.Solid album Im feeling Credit alot for some reason.
@GoldenGlove you know if he gone release the full tracks from Airplane mode?
