Honestly I was getting a little drunk and was losing a little interest towards the end but I thought lawler had a serious case for taking rounds 1/4/5 . Was surprised that rogan had it as a landslide Hendricks victory. Overall very happy with the card felt it delivered on name value and on the actually fights themselves. Feels like it's been a long time since I can say that.

After Nick KO's Anderson, setup Diaz vs. Lawler for the title in the summer.
Unless Anderson has completely lost it after the injury Diaz is literally the best possible fight for him. An unathletic striker (understandable he's got volume for days). He's gonna get picked apart almost as bad as Forrest. Or he'll get Thai plumed worst then franklin.

I had Lawler 48-47 winning rounds 1, 4 & 5. Johny just faded completely in the last 7 minutes or so after he was beating Robbie's ass in rounds 2 & 3.

I don't think it was nearly as bad a fight as some of you made it out to be. Not nearly on the level of the first, but it was still a good fight

Yeah, overall that was a better fight card for me at least.

I was rooting for Robbie, but I thought for sure that Johnny was keeping his belt. Swing rd would have to be the 4th rd for Robbie. He came out hot and controlled most of the 1st, definitely won the 5th. Those middle rds had me puzzled, because he let up on the pressure and was getting tagged with some nice combos from Hendricks, finishing with the leg kicks. Later on Johnny relied too heavily on trying to get the takedown while not doing damage. I would want to go back and watch the 4th again.

Having said that, I hope they don't immediately do the rematch. Robbie fought twice to get another crack, at least have Johnny fight once. Do Rory vs. Robbie again next.

Showtime does it again. What's crazy is everybody is so worried about his kicks (rightfully so), they forget about how vicious his ground game is. He's just beaten Cowboy, Bendo, Gil, 3 fighters who are known for being tough and not easy to beat. Let's just pray he continues to stay healthy.

Hopefully those Cain fights haven't taken a huge toll on JDS. Either way, I don't see Stipe beating him.
When I used to post on Sherdog I made a thread about how Stipe would match up against Dos Santos and got slammed heavy. What the fukk they sayin now?

I think the good Junior will turn up, he's had 13+ months to recover. It must suck knowing that you've lost convincingly to the reigning champ twice.

I think when the UFC is trying to set up a rematch between the champ and the challenger, the challenger should face someone similar to the champ's style. Notice how in a lot of fights where the challenger is facing someone stylistically different to the champ. they often then obliterate said opponent and get smashed in the same way by the champ. Junior got a boxer in Hunt, Mendes got fed McKenzie, Meza, Elkins, Guida and Lentz, etc.

After watching it again I would probably say Hendricks won. I can see lawler getting the 1st off damage. I don't know if that late flurry was enough in the 4th. Could see how both can be scored for lawler but honestly Hendricks probably should of been givin the nod for one of those rounds.

In absolutely no way did Hendricks win the 1st. He got his ass kicked there for the majority of the round and a late take down doesn't change that.

pettis is a beast. i don't see anyone beating him for a while and hendricks was dumb for constantly going for the take down when it was getting stopped.
