This don't even hurt. Twitter (years thru 09-12) is the greatest social media platform of all time. It's hard as fukk to find people worth following nowadays. Like accounts that drop gems, creative ideas, and original content.

What hurt with Tumblr is that the site was organic until it because a cliche for fake artsy and it somehow became a personality for people lol.

This is just one of the effects of being in the "platform" business and increasing market share/footprint plus consolidation. In the case of twitter, you get some users (SWs/Nudists etc) that negatively impact a different segment of their user base (News outlets etc).

Back then BP/tumblr would have been the platform for SWs, but with those platforms eliminated, Twitter and iG have picked up the slack.

iG went from being a picture sharing platform to a marketing platform, review website, online retail medium, adult service ad platform, comedy channel etc.

this can be solved if these sex workers and their “sex worker leaders” would start their own platforms. I think Switter was the first I’ve seen them do but if they do something with the same script as Twitter and IG then they can avoid these issues happening

they know this is all taboo in society yet they keep bouncing from platform to platform then acting shocked it happens over and over

they don’t even have to create a site for all of them.

They can have their own individual sites and post it on business cards in strip clubs or something

Curbing "Fake news" is just enabling tech companies with carte blanche to crack down on what they deem as "dangerous speech". We've started down a slippery slope in which they'll quickly start altering facts and information all in the name of combating "fake news".
