Dude has the ability to put out quality productions with character depth and storylines but it's more of the same. B.S. looks worse than a IG skit, could pass for a "Funny or Die" episode..

There's an entire marketing industry of (gay or straight female) black people sharing clips of TV shows on twitter and adding a funny or tacky description. That's the type of shyt that gets retweeted thousands of times a day on twitter.

The days of "prestige television" are over. Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men....sure there are great shows still out but overall the focus is on highly produced shows that work essentially as soap operas for social media addicts to live vicariously through (and thus provide free advertisement). Game Of Thrones really changed the game. Everybody wants a show that dominates social media discussion with twists, "girl power" moments, sex scenes etc.

Yeah, I posted the Cable TV ratings for the night of the premiere in post 155. Both shows were in the top 15.

I opted to just post the ratings chart so people could interpret the numbers for themselves. Some of the articles I read about ratings also mention that there are charts that rate social media mentions and engagement around tv shows....and his shows did well on those charts as well.

TP knows his audience VERY well......soap operas for social media addicts just like you said.
