But the way they speak Spanish in Puerto Rico does incorporate English into it. Like when other Spanish speakers say they want something they just say quero, or if the speaker is about to run somewhere he would just say corro. Boricuas add yo to it, the same way we do in English. And I've literally heard Chinese Puerto Ricans speaking spanglish perfectly like Puerto Ricans with the accents and all. They were probably from the island and not from the Bronx or Brooklyn. They had that joint down.
I believe you, just never thought about it.

Spanglish is also spoken in Harlem, been in Bk a few years now and haven't heard it. Ricans out here different.

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
That's not true.

Frederick Douglass in his autobiography talks about how slaves not only had their own way of speaking, but the children of slaveowners tended to adopt that manner of speaking over time because the ratios at the plantation meant they spent far more time around Black children than they spent among other White children. So certain southern accents would definitely be heavily drawn from Black speech patterns.
Which ones?

What are they supposed to sound like? I mean I’ve seen plenty of them folk that grew up around black folk and they might sound like that. It is what it is.

She checked someone in her comments talking about she doesn't talk that way around her parents. She was like duh my parents don't speak English at all. I just think she's a product of her environment. She speaks broken english like most foreigners while growing up around blacks. That's why she sounds so od.

As a souther bruh it is a major difference in having a southern accent and trying to sound black.
She trying to sound black.

Exactly

And she uses lingo/accents from every region

Using Atlanta lingo with a Baltimore accent then switching it up and using Southern black accent with Florida lingo :dahell:

sometimes these extra woke black power tweets I feel be the real cosplaying pretenders

Because how you grow up in our community, and actually be outside and don’t know no white or Asian or African or Hispanics that speak and talk just like we do, because they literally grew up in the exact block or streets we all did since elementary school lmao

Like their are white dudes that got more rep around the way then I do at the point, because they never left and stay there and raised family and work at Amazon and shyt, and we grew up on the same street but no one would dare come say they was “faking” or “appropriating”, nor in a weird way…do I even see them as something else then a dude that’s from my block…

Yes there are pretenders but wtf? My African friends parents speak in accent but their children are hood lol…how is this not understandable
