a pool of blood that looked like it was covering like 1/4th of the whole ring
You must’ve been a kid because the blood was only near one of the apron sides, and it only covered a small portion of it.

And I don’t think he would be bleeding a lot. Read @Take It In Blood post about the flesh missing from Owen’s arm with no blood coming out.
JR podcast is gut wrenching. He states clearly he’s not doing this again but is probably getting this all out finally doing it. He gets into detail and Conrad gives him his space to talk and whatnot

That was all anyone could talk about the next day at school (7th grade for me). We didn't think it was real because they showed a promo for Jeff Jarrett.
I remember thereafter the controversy that came from keeping the show going. No way they could try that now. The fans probably woulda either cried uncontrollably or left out of sheer sadness.

I remember that like yesterday. Owen Hart should have never been put into position! That show should have been canceled after that incident. At school the next day(9th grade) that's all everyone was talking about.

Obviously the show should've been stopped. They didnt knlw at the exact moment that he was dead tho. And I'm sure Owen would have wanted the show to continue. But even that doesn't make it right to continue.
And it's sad that Rock wanted to go out there but Vince wisely rold him not to bc the crowd would react to Rock and think it was a work.
JR profusely states that he feels that the show should’ve been stopped and that they could’ve redid the rest of the card the next night on Raw
