I managed to get it to work on Windows XP by typing in these commands separately

netsh firewall add portopening TCP 80 YoutubeHTTP DISABLE CUSTOM 173.194.55.0/24

netsh firewall add portopening TCP 80 YoutubeHTTP DISABLE CUSTOM 206.111.0.0/16

So now atleast both my Windows XP and Windows 8 PCs have the fix.....


The internet is fast as fuk on both systems now.


I just wish I was able to do the same for my router so I could have a faster connection on my gaming consoles

This shyt won't work for me. I tried the command promp thing, and I got the OK message that should make it work but it doesn't. Youtube won't even let me watch a video in SD the shyt will take like 30 minutes to even fully buffer. It even does it on my Youtube APP on PS3

the general census is that it works but occasionally reverts back to original speed sometimes during the day

What the hell is with this buffering brehs? I already did the trick in this thread and it was fine up until this past week. Now it's trash. However, if I use a proxy site to watch videos, it loads fine.

So does that mean my provider is fukking with Youtube or is it Youtube itself being trash
