Chappelle's Show is the only one I can think of right now. I loved Arrested Development too but I didn't start watching that til last year.

The first episode of Dexter had me going :ooh:

By mid season it was a foregone conclusion that this show was hall of fame status.

BTW, the pilot for the America Office was just a ripoff of the British one scene for scene, so I wouldn't count that a immediate classic. Show didn't really get going until Season 2.

Lost should have been but the writers panicked after everybody realised that the island was purgatory so they started to write on the fly.

the island was not purgatory

and OZ had a dope opening episode/season. they was killing of main characters like it was nothing. the first episode centered around a dude who got murked at the end of the episode.

shyt had me like :gladbron:

Name some tv shows that within 5-10 episodes they were already classics.

I'm currently re-watching The X Files from the beginning and it just hit me how about 5 episodes in, the shyt is already legendary. Most of the stuff that made this show so classic were already there within the first few episodes.
Yeah I started watching it too and I kind of feel like an idiot for ever saying fringe was better.First of all they were totally different shows fringe is geared more towards trekkie type sci-fi fans whereas x-files was more layered and had elements of action/mystery/sci-fi e.t.c Looking at the first few seasons while it feels very 90s the actual themes/plots havent aged that badly at all
Nah Seinfeld was more like a work in progress...the first few eps were weak compared to the overall series.
yup the first season had some dusty epis:huhldup:

I might get negged for this but fukk it....Family Guy

Yes, it sucks NOW......but those first couple of episodes got more laughs out of me than all the later ones combined. Damn near every Family Guy episode made before its cancellation was legit hilarious; the jokes were actually funny from start to finish, and the cutaways were well-timed and not too excessive.....then I guess they hired new writers or some shyt :smh:
