I often didn't have cable growing up so there was a lot of syndicated bullshyt that would come on after Saturday morning cartoons that signaled I needed to go outside or do anything but watch tv

As an adult this theme actually slaps but this was the definition of boredom

This is facts, but Cheers was a show you / we had to grow into. For about the first 12 years of my life, it was insta-change status. Then one day, I maybe forgot to change the channel right away or went to get a snack and came back into the room and Cheers was still on and it was .
