If my parents was watching that shyt at night, I'd lock myself in the bathroom and run the bath water, sink and flush the toilet just to avoid hearing those damn themes


I use to play a game with myself; Make it out the room or out of earshot before the Crypt Keeper jumps out of the tomb in the intro

I was a latchkey kid growing up so I had the house to myself half the time. Must've been around 12 or 13 at the time.

Back then, this Cinemax porn about some british chick called Emanuel used to come on, and your boy would get it in furiously, straight beastin' with the Curel. Usually I stayed half clothed just in case they decided to come home early, I'd have time to pull my pants up . Nah I thought I was in the bag this day and let my guard down. your boy got booty butt bone naked, thinking I'm bout to get all the way comfy. Couldn't fast forward back then So I had to constantly pregame between scenes, watching the plot unfold and shyt.

then I hear keys jingling at the door -- survival mode kicks in, start furiously trying to change the channel, but nothing

So I said fukk it and snatched the socket out the wall, cheat code baby.

luckily when my moms turned the tv back on it started reprogramming and shyt and wasnt on the same channel

But guess what flipped on as soon as it was done programming,. Another porn...but it was on HBO, Think it was some Taxi Cab confessions shyt or some kinda of sex documentary

I can’t even watch 5 mins of this show. Everything about it looked depressing and dirty.

That's the whole point - show was made as a commentary on the futility of Vietnam.

Can't even express properly how much I hated that show.

Little House on the Praire

I actually watched that shyt, the humor was meh to me but it was one of the few shows on mainstream tv during my childhood that realistically showed poor folks' struggles. Honestly it was that and Fat Albert.
