Yeah, it actually got a second season, but only in France or something. America just wasn't ready for a show where the villain was the star and always won. If it came out about 6 years later, shyt would have been a mega hit.

A show about a man who's luck ran to extremes both good and bad and his life because of it.

sort of related note: I just started (and only have one ep to go) the HBO series "Carnivale". The fact that it only got TWO seasons out of the proposed 6 is a fukking travesty.

Man Carnivale was my shyt.. but season 1 being such a slow burn killed it

I think it would have did better if was coming out now tho or a few years after it ended.

Yeah, it was interesting when it started because of the characters, but it REALLY picked up once Justin went

They should have done it by episode 3 at the latest, gotten that fukkery ball rolling.
