Time to dust off those vampire puns: An Angel reunion may be on the horizon.

Appearing on Tuesday’s The Talk, David Boreanaz hinted that there are plans to somehow commemorate the Buffy the Vampire Slater spinoff’s platinum anniversary this fall. “We’re coming up on our 20 years,” he noted. “That’s amazing to have been blessed with a show like that. That’s really where I started my gig in this acting world. I love that character. So I will say there may be something coming up. I don’t want to give away a lot. It’s 20 years coming up this fall, and we may have something in the works.”

Angel made its WB debut on October 5, 1999 and ran for five seasons and 110 episodes. The cast also included Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, Amy Acker, James Marsters, Mercedes McNab, as well as the late Glenn Quinn and Andy Hallett.

Last fall at New York Comic-Con, Boreanaz — who is currently starring on CBS’ SEAL Teamvoiced his support for the inthe works Buffy reboot. “Come on, guys, it’s a good thing,” he told the very skeptical crowd. “Let’s just embrace [it]. I’m very happy for them. They want to embrace a new generation, something new.

“Everybody wants old, they want to go back, which I can understand,” he continued. “You want to see us back in these roles. It’s great, it’s cool, [but] things move on, stories evolve, times change. I think it’s a great opportunity for a reboot like this to show where we are with society now, what you can do with technology… I’m all for it.”

Boreanaz even gave his blessing to any actor hypothetically taking on the role of Angel: “If someone can step in my shoes and play my character, f–k, go ahead!” he enthused. “I think that’s great, because I ain’t putting on that makeup anymore!”

Nothing lasts forever...

After fifteen thrilling seasons, Supernatural, the CW’s longest-running series and the longest-running sci-if/horror series ever, is officially coming to an end in 2020.

Stars Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), and Misha Collins (Castiel) made the announcement earlier this afternoon with an extremely emotional video, which you can view below.

The series, which began in 2005, is currently in the midst of its fourteenth season and had already been renewed for Season 15 prior to today’s announcement. It recently crossed the 300-episode milestone and will end its run with a remarkable 327 episodes.

I wonder if these CW endings have anything to do with AT&T .. just like I bet any FOX cancellations have to deal with mickey...

I think these ones are just the actors finally making the call and knowing its time

But I do think in the next 5 years something is gonna happen with the CW. Its always had declining ratings but its survived off its deal with Netflix/Hulu/International broadcast purchase rights. The streaming game bout to change with Disney plus and I understand WB is about to get ready to have its own streaming company too. If that happens I think it affects Netflix and Hulu's deals with WB and even the DC universe's point of existing and with declining ratings a lot of shows might just go on demand first but we'll see.

I don’t get it either. I think a spin-off with Dre and his family in Compton during the crack epidemic is way more interesting
I don’t watch Blackish regularly, but the ones I have seen and those flashbacks are def enough evidence for its own series.
