It's not about a show being good so much as it becoming popular. Though I enjoyed Wednesday I wouldn't consider it a textbook good show but it went viral and got renewed. They've likely canceled much better shows. They'll often send shows to die just to keep the fire warm like they did Warrior Nun Season 2. For promotion you're lucky to get a newsletter email and a post on their official YouTube and Twitter account when the date is close.
I know it’s a numbers game, i don’t trip too much, but in the same breath it sucks

Netflix is my now my enemy.

This show was very good. From what I’m hearing. Netflix barely promoted it. It was basically a hidden gem. It grabbed my attention in the very first episode. I still recommend watching it even though it’s cancelled. I hope another network picks it up.

This is strike number 3. I’m still mad they cancelled The Society, and I’m Not Okay With This. They both ended on cliffhangers. After Stranger Things next season, I think a lot of people (myself included) are dipping. It was a good run, but the way Netflix been moving lately. Shyt’ll probably come full circle, and what happened to Blockbuster is going to happen to them.
I explained Netflix's approach in the what to watch on netflix thread

Hes said a year or two ago hes been working on an album entirely produced by Q Tip and his back on Def Jam

Kinda wanna see what they've done:ehh:

Anything with Q tip involved scares me.

Aside from that Dragon album i feel like his projects stay in limbo these days

I've been waiting on that followup to The Renaissance for almost half of my life. I automatically assumed Cruel Winter was never coming out just because Q-Tip was supposed to be taking the lead on it.

It's an actual miracle that we got We Got it From Here. I seriously think that if Phife didn't pass away, it'd still be sitting on hard drives somewhere.

I get that the book was groundbreaking for its time but I don't know why they thought this concept would work in today's era.
