To be perfectly honest, I dont think the cp3 idea is a bad one.
He is def available
He can save jimbo from himself and get lauri shots in great spots, not to mention get the ball out of lavine hands down the stretch of games.
He can be a great mentor to coby until coby is ready to take the wheel. And even at this age he is mountains higher the point guard than sato Dunn or arci, we losing a lot of games down the stretch because the ball is in lavine hands and he forced to be a play maker. We knew last season those duties should have been taken from him. sato was supposed to fix that but he not playing good enough to stay on the floor in the 4th.
Yes cp3 is owed a ton, but this the bulls and they got the money. What we saving for? No free agent coming here unless we get some winning going. Lavine and lauri need a leader that can show them some winning. I like the cp3 idea
