This team thinks they can make the playoffs.

Oh, and whoever decide to make a pinstripe Jersey but not have the pinstripes red. They got us all excited like they were bringing back the classic 90s Jersey.

I been said, I don't like that jersey cuz it says chicago on the front and not bulls, which looks weird in itself. this is why I dont like their regular black jerseys either.

They not about to fire someone they just gave an extension too. We'll trade a couple of guys before that happens.

one of the reinsdorf's would have to get involved which we know won't happen.

theres no reason this Suns team minus Ayton should be more competitive (IN THE WEST) then we look vs non playoff teams. We have more talent on the floor than them. Its terrible

This roster isn't trash tho. They blew an 11 point lead with like 5 minutes left in the CHA game, and they blew an 8 point lead with 3 minutes to go tonight.

They should have never extended Boylen, we all knew that when it happened and now here we are.

I just don't think the core is that great. LaVine has All-star potential...he could be a #2 on a hi level playoff team. The rest tho...

Lauri is just ok ...is he that different from Mirotic....he's ok but he could be replaced. I don't have high hopes for him being an All-star

Carter Jr will be ok....but again just solid...poor man's Horford cept he can't shoot like they said he could

I think Coby has a bright future as a LouWill type player tho...dude can ball

Sato is just a replacement level player...kornet has no business getting minutes. Our front court is low-key kinda

We drafted two SFs who are constantly injured and even when healthy arent that good. Denzel can hit some open 3s but that's it

There's some decent talent but no gamechangers
besides Zach and he has his own flaws to deal eith

All of this is true, but for me, I saw the Bulls going for a culture shifting year like The Clippers and Nets last season. Where they put a competitive exciting squad on the floor...

I think they have enough talent to make the playoffs in the East, and they've shown flashes of being a fun team to watch, I'm just disappointed in how they've lost these games.

its possible this team just needs more time to grow chemistry, figure the defense out etc

but i cant lie it just looks like we are screwed at this point. meaning the goal when rebuilding was to eventually field a title contending team, and at this point i dont even see the beginning core for a title contending team.in a few years this league will belong to zion, trae young, giannis, doncic, etc, who do we have even close to those guys ceiling? we dont even have a guy here as good as jimmy butler and that is not saying much as he is not even a player you can build a title contending team around.

i said before the season in order for this to work, lavine and lauri will have to be really good really fast. i think they have talent but im not seeing title contending talent, at this point i dont see make the playoffs talent. teams are keying in on coby white now and he is now looking just ok.

im not throwing in the season, its still a lot of time to turn this around, but these struggles are against some of the worst teams in the league and that is saying alot about us and what our talent is. we might need to consider a quick hook to this core. going another direction sooner than later only because you have otto porter jr and lauri markenen deals soon approaching and we cannot get locked into this roster especially if they cant even get a low seed, and honestly im not so sure to lock into it if we do get a 8th seed.

Portis repeatedly attacked Luke Kornet off the dribble. And while he did plenty of his damage against starters, Boylen fielded a question about whether Daniel Gafford might get a chance as the backup big man.

It’s not happening---for now.

“Luke has a great feel to move the ball,” Boylen said. “The reasons I liked him was I watched him in his games against Philadelphia and how he defended a low-post presence like [Joel] Embiid with his size and his length. Ultimately, that's what I was getting at... can't change the culture of this team and franchise with a joke of a coach. This team still doesn't know how to win, so they needed a coach who would mold them some.

Boylen hasn't had to deal with the injuries, or fukkery that Fred has, and this team is still aimless. It made no sense extending him when they did. Should have got a fresh clean slate and let a more proven coach, or a high profile assistant take the reigns.

I just want to be able to stan my team with pride again on here

you and me both, i cant even go into any thread talking a lil crazy just to bring back the baby bulls and rose era feel we had, i literally just watch threads and shut up, my team aint bout nothing smh

nets started last season 2-5 and were 7-18 at one point they also have a better coach

clippers had vets and a good coach

bulls 2nd youngest team in the league,coach suspect and added new pieces. Y’all gotta be patient too many of these casuals expect a team that won 22 & 27 games and were bottom 6 in defense to make a insane leap.30 something wins is my realistic expectations unless everything clicks then they have an outside shot at the 8 seed.
