someone please explain to me why we drafted a nikka who didn't start at florida state with the #4 overall pick????? :dahell:

Devin Booker didn't start either ...College starting situation as a freshman is not the only factor regarding NBA success my mans ...

I also don't think he's a small forward either... in thinking he's going to be more of a modern 4 with the ability to play switchable small ball 5 which would be nice next to someone like Lauri or even Carter for that matter...

I wanted Toppin but I'm just happy they didn't take Deni. Everything I've seen or read says Williams works hard and plays good defense. Maybe he can develop like Butler did but faster. Hopefully this works out. Got to give the front office a chance.

The knock on him from the breakdown I watched mentioned that his lateral quickness isn't that good and he struggles keeping people in front of him but he's good at recovering and contesting/blocking shots. With that in mind your description is right in that he'll probably be matching up against 4s naturally

I see more of a lack of refinement as opposed to slow feet ... I'll add some videos later but he has the athleticism to stay in front of smaller players i definitely think he can guard 3's ...he just needs to polish his technique in man coverage... offensively he's more of a 4 tho ...ball handling is not there but he's really young and shows flashes as a potential slashing/passing threat
