It's starting to look that way. He reminds me of an off-brand Mirotic. He can't play solid basketball for more than a month and this whole blaming everyone else schtick is starting to get old. Boylen is the worst coach in the league, but Zach and Wendell before he got injured seemed to be doing fine. Coaching is probably a part of it, but when you out there getting outplayed by Luke Kornet, you know it's something deeper than that.
But we don’t run anything outside jack threes, which should be his forte. Buddy just ass. His confidence is shot just like Mirotic, Saric, and the rest of these overhyped Euros. If you don’t have Doncic level credentials I’m not drafting you

Lauri just isnt that good...he really is just Mirotic but a shyttier rebounder/defender
Both were inconsistent as hell and not as great of shooters as ppl think....but Niko was actually solid defensively and a pretty good rebounder. Lauri is pretty ass to both and he's only shooting 34% from 3 which is below average even for a big.
Lauri has a good month or two and had that one game where he outplayed Porzingis(which is also massively overrated) so ppl thought he could be something. I even remember some fools making Dirk comps which is SO GATDAMN retarded since Dirk is a generational offensive big.
Lauri is way closer to being an Ersan Ilyasova type or maybe Orlando era Ryan Anderson but worse at rebounding. His ceiling to me is K Love on the Cavs...a solid 3rd option at best
Boylen sukks and the development in Chicago is trash but his skillset just isn't that great and honestly stretch 4s aren't as valuable as they were in the early 2010s.
I'd trade him for a late 1st rather than give him a 2nd contract.
