I like what I'm seeing from the bulls in preseason, the offense, sato,thad,otto were all great additions and I definitely think lavine gonna be an all star this season
bulls have trade assets to trade for a star,cap flexibility for a max summer '21 and retooled the roster to fit the modern nba

it's not about having a high assist total, it's like you said, moving the ball, reading the defense properly, and making the right pass when necessary. I've only seen the 1 highlight video of him so this isn't an overall critique of his game, but what I saw was him getting tunnel vision when attacking, coming off picks immediately looking to shoot and missing the the guy cutting.
None of this means he's bad or can't improve his floor vision and decision making, it's just things I'm noting as of right now

Dunn had his shot, he literally had the starting pg spot locked in and it was his to lose. Then we sign sato and draft coby, I mean what more do you need for motivation? He gets the call 1st preseason game. He had all his chances.
It's not totally over , he can fight his way back into the rotation. But sato is the right call.

at this point, dunn should be the 3rd or 4th PG. my only question is if arci is above or below dunn on the depth chart.

You are 100% right, I just want to see him score constantly this upcoming season and work on the other things next summer, I feel like the vision and improved passing skills will come
I think Dunn will play plenty still, I don’t think he’s fighting to stay in the rotation. Dunn/Coby will be our backup 1/2. I guess there is a chance Arch could factor. Sato makes so much more sense playing with Zach & Lauri. He moves the ball, and can space the floor. Dunn just has tunnel vision and obviously kills our spacing. One thing to note from preseason, we are averaging 37.8 3s a game. That would have been good for 4th most in the league last season! It’s 9th league wide this preseason.
For reference we were bottom 4 in league last season at 25.9 attempts per game.
Very encouraging to see us modernize the offense. Chris Fleming looking like a great addition to coaching staff. We have some shooters now, let it fly.
