This was one of my rules when it came to interracial dating. I don't want to be with someone because they're trying to run away from who they are or with someone else because they hate their own. Smart, mentally healthy people don't think like that and I want a mentally healthy person if I'm looking to start a family, don't want a kid with stupid genes.

This. I look at other races of women who say they only date black men sideways, and probably the same as a woman dating a black man for the first time (though I'm not as hard on them). It's a precarious line between fetishization and "new experiences".

You're missing the argument.

Interracial dating or mixed kids aren't the problem. The problem is if you're choosing a future with someone who has a low IQ, irrational take about their other race. That person isn't that smart and you're going to breed with them = you're not breeding with the best of them. You're choosing the more emotional, less intelligent portion of that group. Survivorship bias is working against you at that point.

Better is finding that person who doesn't have a toxic mentality like that. That's mentally healthy in comparison. People need to breed with smarter people, not irrational people. A woman thinking like what I first mentioned is a wacko and wouldn't be surprised if the kids come out dumber than the parents. You're not cooking with good ingredients. Not only do they most likely have lower IQ, but they probably have less EQ as well.

You're basically choosing a mother for your kid with Trump supporter-level intelligence and lack of nuance. Think about that: you're literally choosing someone who's racist against themselves. That's the definition of a simpleton. At the end of the day, two smart people, people making smart decisions make the best kids. People let their insecurities lead to horrible longterm decisions as to who they choose. Meanwhile, somebody who knows how to choose the right way (whether same or different race) are going to be exponentially ahead. It's basically quality vs cutting corners.

I never said anything about the latter though? I'm not saying anything about fetishes.

I'm talking about people who hate their own. They tend to be not smart, low IQ people. I know many people who are the product of multiple raced parents that love their own culture and love the other person's. That's a beautiful thing. Friends and family all around them, high-potential. That's what the ideal for multi-race relationships imo.

When someone hates their own, that's low-potential and toxic more times than not. There're probably got people cut-off everywhere, friends and family. If you want to get with something like that (and that's your business), you're probably capping the potential most likely. Not all the time, but from my experience it's usually that bad. If someone wants to make that their headache, that's on them, but in my opinion and my experience that person has their shyt to work out. I rather not deal with that.
