I figured it out for real this time. It all has to do with the contrasting colors on the sides of the dress. If you look at the flowery pattern to the left of the dress, you'll see the dress as blue/black. If you look at the light/shelf on the right side of the dress, you'll see the dress as white/gold.

dim the brightness on your laptop and tilt your screen towards you and it's blue and black.

dont know how people dont see it as white and gold looking dead on though

No matter how I try to change the brightness of my phone, tilt it, looked away, stared, glanced, looked at the other picture I don't see blue/ black in the OP pic at all.

I think one of the two pics are altered or different colored dresses.

You don't even have to tilt your screen to see it as blue/black. Just look at the black/white pattern on the left side of the picture, then look at the dress.
