JJ Dillon was a fukking idiot

Sting holding that big ass Hogan vs Sting poster and this fool asking "What does he want?"

It's really pretty baffling how JJ went from such a great promo guy in the 80s in Florida and Crockett with the Horsemen to being so bad in an authority figure role in 1997/1998. From a writing perspective he was often just dumb and inept, but from a performance perspective he was constantly tripping up lines or saying the wrong thing and generally just sucked at the one thing he was always good at: talking.

There really isn't a better thread for this and it's not worthy of its own thread, but I would hate to see Rock come back and try to hit the People's Elbow. The past 6 years or so, anytime he runs in a movie he looks like someone's uncle trying not to blow out a knee in a pick up game at the Y.

I should have mentioned, what years are you looking for? I know of the ones from my childhood so mostly mid to 80s to early 90s

Thunder was never lit, dawg. The first ep had 30 minutes of promos and opened with 10 years+ past his prime Chris Adams.

By 99 there was something worth watching on Thunder, whether a match or important angle, maybe once every 3 weeks. The first few months of Thunder it wasnt bad though.

By literally 2 months into Thunder, WCW gave up on it and it was basically Saturday Night during the week. I would argue even before that.

For some weird reason some dudes love hating on Wolfpac Sting but without that he would've never got his personality back that he had for his 99 return and beyond.
