WM 26 is a lot weaker than I remembered. HBK/Taker 2 in particular is kind of not that great. The last like...12 minutes are just finisher kick outs. HBK gets tombstoned on the floor in the first few minutes and it doesn't even play into the rest of the match. Bret/Vince killed the crowd, HHH ending his full time career with a mid card heatless match with Sheamus, maybe the worst WM ladder match, Edge/Jericho being bleh as fukk, Cena/Batista being really sloppy with a fukking goofy finish (same spot that broke Cena's neck in 2008 directly into him no selling it and winning with the STF).

Idk, I remember liking it a lot when it happened, but it's pretty whatever now.

I haven't watched it since its original air date. I remember sorta liking Cena vs. Batista and HBK vs. Taker, but that Bret vs. Vince match killed me as well as the crowd. It just went on and on. It should've been 2 minutes at most of Hitman punching Vince and then sharpshooter because of physical limitations.

Everything about Bret/Vince is wrong. From it starting with Vince paying off the Hart Family to screw Bret falling completely flat because everyone knew where it was heading, to Bruce Hart getting his WM moment, to Bret's return to WM being a promo and him standing around for a few minutes while the whole Hart Family (who no one outside of Calgary have EVER given a shyt about besides Bret, Owen, and the in-laws) beat on Vince. And then Bret beats Vince with a crowbar for a few mins. And then he gets a chair and hits Vince 20+ times, to the point where you start feeling bad for Vince and it got super awkward. Made worse by the fact that it wasn't like Bret looked like he was even enjoying it or anything. It just felt like doing it to do it. So you have 60 something Vince screaming in agony while Bret viciously beats him over an issue from 13 years prior. It was just...weird. From start to finish.

Not a single person even in Calgary wanted Bret's return to WM involve Bruce, Keith, and Smith.

My only guess is Bret said he'll come back, but the whole fam has to get a WM payday. It was ridiculous.

I was so disappointed in that match. we all knew that Bret couldn't take bumps, but one of the things the wwe had always been pretty good at was adding in fukkery to matches that had guys that couldn't work. it was just a total fukkup, I couldn't believe they couldn't come up with something better.

I think at that point, Vince couldn't really do the fukkery his matches were used to (insane bumps), plus it couldn't have blood. Vince was 64 at the time of that match. Bret was 52, had a stroke, couldn't take bumps, and hadn't had any in ring action in 10 years. So Vince could no longer take the big bumps and bleed which had characterized all of his matches, he likely got concussed by the Hart Attack at the start of the match, and Bret couldn't do anything but beat on Vince, but he was obviously not in shape because why would he be in match shape at that point. And then the beat down went on so long that Vince ends up being sympathetic. shyt was a disaster.

IMO, anything after WM 24 up thru 30 sucked. 30 was the first great WM in several years.

I legit thought Ahmed was next up when he beat Goldust for the IC belt at King of the Ring. He was booked really well up until Farooq debuted. shyt was never the same after that.
Wasn't there beef between Faarooq and Ahmed?

BROCK vs Ambrose is legit one of the better BEATDOWN in mania history. It's straight up bully shyt. That belly to belly from the top rope :whoo:

Ambrose looks so fukkin goofy too. I don't understand why he doesn't try to look or act tough anymore. I don't know what Ambrose wanted to do though that he was complaining...He got offense in and got his spots...Did he want to beat Brock Lesnar? :francis:

Man, I dont complain too much about winners and losers but the fukk does Sasha lose at mania 31? She was the already, got a ridiculous pop, had snoop Dogg rapper her entrance and bring her down....she was on the billboards, Makes no fukkin sense....Yeah, Charlotte was major then too and came out but with the dope ass robe and pyro...but damn.

Outside of mania 2000 and mania XIX triple H wins, this was some senseless shyt
