watching IYH 95 the smoking gunns was such a great team even if you hated the gimmick their chemistry was top notch.

The commentary is like night and day compared to today. Damn near every thing thats being said is pertaining to the the people in the ring.

Undertaker legit got a bone broken in his face by Mabel during an attack and just laid there. No holding his face, no writhing in pain.. that dedication to his character :wow:

Seems backwards

DVD business not that hot anymore because everyone digital especially with the Network

You'd think that'd be the first priority
Good points, I forgot to mention I think it goes to vod services

They push the DVD because it's 25-30 bucks instead of going with them on the 10/month service

man, I been watching some of the older WWF PPVs like the 1st ones. man, Jesse Ventura used to say some shyt back then that went totally over my head as a kid.

for example, I'm watching the 1990 Royal Rumble, which by the way was LIT as fukk. the crowd was crazy into everyone on the card. and the Rumble itself was so loaded with star power its crazy

anyway, one of the matches was Brutus the Barber beefcake vs the Genius. for those of you too young to have watched the genius, he was a Poet who would read poems prior to his matches and was a bit effeminate with his mannerisms and flips he would do.

so at one point during the match, the crowd starts chanting loudly "fakkit! fakkit!" and Jesse goes "listen to the crowd SOLIDLY behind Brutus the barber...from SAN FRANSISCO!" :deadrose:

now as a kid I never got that. never knew about San Fransisco being the gay capitol of the US and since Beefcake was billed as being from there he was saying the crowd was chanting fakkit for beefcake :heh: as opposed to calling the genius that.

there's some other stuff he said on other shows, about Hulk Hogan that when thinking about it was so true, & he called Vince out on a racist remark LIVE on the 1988 Royal Rumble :banderas:

I can kinda see why when Hogan was making the plans to come to WCW, Bischoff told Jesse to go home and they'll pay him from there.

Ventura was getting it too on Terry
