What are some of the better PPV events lets say from 08-13? I stopped following the product on a regular basis during this period and I'd be interested in checking some out. Sans Manias cause I've seen a those

ECW Heatwave 98 is one of the GOAT ppvs, ever.

Watching it again right now. New Jack outsidein the parking lot talking trash about kickin somebodies ass, "You gon get yo ass whooped tonight!".....then the Dudleyz roll up in a Cadillac, jump out and whoop his ass. Then jump back in the car and leave :wow:

Taka vs Sasuke won them cac's over during IYH: Canadian Stampede. Had the crowd going from :mjpls: to :ohhh: to :wow: in minutes.

Man that crowd was so alive compared to the crowds of today. They were hot for EVERYTHING and actually paid attention to matches.

Breh that event is top 5 whole card was flames. Not a bad match and that 10 man:whew:

Arguably top 5 ppv of all time.

Jesus, everybody and they fukking grandmother(literally) is bored out they minds while the elimination chamber is coming down at the December to Dismember PPV.

This is officially the worst lineup in the elimination chamber ever, nevermind one of the worst cards ever booked. CM Punk, RVD, Sabu who was taken out of it, Test, Hardcore Holly, Bobby Lashley and Big Slow in the chamber :wtf:

And then they eliminate Punk and RVD first, then fukk around and botch Holly's elimination with the ref. Lashley actually made a pod escape look so unconvincing. Then delivers two spears so shytty looking I bet he's rocking 20/40 vision.

One of if not probably the worst PPVs ever, which makes it so good. Shelly Martinez and Kelly Kelly were actually the best part of the show next to Trinity and a FBI surprise appearance.

I cant remmeber the site...but the last week, this ppv got voted as the most must see ppv when the Network launches. because it was SO bad.

And it's also the lowest grossing WWE ppv of all-time

Agreed. Compare this to some of the ECW shows, the wrestling here was way better. It's a shame they never signed Sasuke though.

I was never a legit ECW follower got a couple ppvs here and there (honestly surprised they only got a handful on here, always thought they had more shows) I'm gonna make it a point to watch a lot of their older stuff I think it will age better than a lot of that 98-2000 WCW:yeshrug:

Okay now everything seems to be back going I can finish Bash at the Beach. :laff: @ the meane gene promo where he says he heard the third man through the door but it sounds muffled but the voice is stuck in his brain for some reason.

Also I was watching Hog Wild 96 earlier and they put a censor over the hotline number saying NUMBER NO LONGER ACTIVE :heh:

Edit: :leon: oh shyt Benoit and Arn in tag team action

I've been saying it should be the first thing everybody should watch together once the Network launches. It's an incredible PPV from the the point of view of what a disaster it turned out to be. And it's exceptional in that regard. Everything down to the lighting was horrible. If you ever stepped into a second-hand flea market in your life that's what the atmosphere feels like. You'll laugh all through it and then get a rush of sadness of how Vince shytted on the ECW legacy after it ends.

It's fukkery in it's purest form.

Lol...going for the violence eh, kiddo?

 All in my quest to see if how much censored footage they've put up.

A lot of that ECW stuff hasn't aged well at all cause it's kinda spotty and relies a lot on garbage wrestling. The stuff in the mid-90s with Malenko/Guerrero, Mysterio/Psychosis and Mysterio/Juvi are some of their best matches. I loved the Mike Awesome/Masato Tanaka matches that they had on TV too. None of those guys were really "home-grown" talent though, they all wrestled in Mexico/Japan before coming to ECW.
