It's ridiculous how much time is spent on Monday Night Wars repeating stories they've already told. They're treating the series like each episode is it's on movie instead of it being episodes. No need to give a whole history of the past and how WCW stumbled.
I just got around to watching these and they're not bad, but I agree with what you're saying. I've seen the same clips, interviews, and stories over and over

It also kills me that no matter what the episode is about, they all end the same way, with basically just " and then WCW died" :dead:

She doesnt watch it but my gf copped me a 12 month gift sub so I'm covered for awhile.
:blessed:
Guess I'll check out some old AE shows when we get back home.
Is NXT really that dope? I may have to play catch up.
And the original programming any good, brehs?
I can't believe they don't have more Nitro's though.
Date ends at 1996 from what I can tell.

They could really edit these MNW shows down to 30 mins. Half of it is the same thing each ep, they go back to the 70s/80's and talk about the beginning of the WWF, then it's "Vince McMahons' WWE was in a ratings battle" It takes them a good 20 mins before they get into the meat of the episode.

I say edit them down to 30 mins, get right to the subject wrestler, and then you can even make more eps about different topics.

Has ADR ever had a bad match?
This one between he & Ziggler at Payback just off of psychology alone.
Fans that were booing Dolph at the jump cheering him and AJ begging the ref to stop it on some

You could pretty much play he & Ziggler's match for someone who has never watched the show, mute the volume, and they'd still get the story being told in the ring.
Disappointing that ADR didn't "connect" with the fans on the mic, because his work in the ring from what I've seen is incredible.
He even carried Reigns to a good match on Smackdown a few weeks before his departure.

Edit:
He & Dolph put on an absolute clinic here, too. Might be in my top five matches I've seen since getting back into the WWE early this year.

One of the best things about that match was AJ being concerned for her man, Dolph. I like when heels show concern for one another or are loyal to one another. You can be a rule breaker or a complete a$$hole but it don't mean you would do that to your friends or family.

WcW just had a legitimate aura that today's WWE product is lacking. This Bret-Piper promo is incredible, piper talking about watching bret since he first started and you just know its real and not BS
