The revisions on that MNW series are pure bullshyt.

First they shytted on thunder saying that wcw put all theirl lower level talent there nobody wanted to see and it was b level show.

Then propped up smackdown saying it was a show to give the young guys a chance to be in the spotlight :stopitslime:

Smackdown has literally become like Thunder...now i will say it gave younger talent a chance............when Heyman was writing for it [go figure]

Breh I call it "Let's Bury WCW" for a reason.

It's sad we'll never see an unbiased retrospect of WCW/Monday Night Wars but we all know why that is. Maybe when HHH/Stephanie get in power we may get a less slanted look at that time period as Cokeboy is taking WCW almost putting him out of business to his grave and stooges like Show and Jericho (who even though WCW gave them their first big time breaks and in Show's case pushed him to the moon enough for him to even get that WWE deal in 1999) love to give the "disgruntled WCW worker" perspective.

I'd like to see the perspectives of WCW main eventers of that time like Hogan, Sting, Luger, Steiner, etc who were eating well off that time period and less of the midcard workers we already know were held back due to politics

WWE has really no excuse now that Hogan and Sting are in WWE and I'm sure HHH can use Hogan/Hall/Nash's connections to get former WCW talent we haven't heard their stories to discuss that time period

They could really edit these MNW shows down to 30 mins. Half of it is the same thing each ep, they go back to the 70s/80's and talk about the beginning of the WWF, then it's "Vince McMahons' WWE was in a ratings battle" It takes them a good 20 mins before they get into the meat of the episode.

I say edit them down to 30 mins, get right to the subject wrestler, and then you can even make more eps about different topics.

Breh, Thunder is EASILY the WORST prime-time wrestling show in history. And that's including WCW Saturday Night.

It's like the first few eps of Thunder were cool, but then they CLEARLY stopped trying.

SD was way better

Thunder was piff then fall off
Smackdown was piff then fall off

:stopitslime:

Smackdown never really fell off until recent years.

Sure there was a lull around 01 or so, but SD from 02-mid 04 might be the BEST wrestling era of the 2000's

Thunder was garbage outside of the first several eps when they really wanted to get ppl watching.

Even the Thunder video game was awful....and I spent money on it. smh

Thunder was Oklahoma in 08 when it first started, towards mid to late 99 it became current Oklahoma. Good but not what it should be :youngsabo:

I aint watched the Kliq episode of Monday Night Wars yet but I imagine if you're sick and tired of revisionist history and shytting on WCW, this is the one episode you reeeeeeeeeeeaaaally wanna avoid lololol

Also Titus O'Neil needs to keep doing commentary, I kinda thought he was funny. If you're looking for a Jesse the Body Ventura type commentator who's a tweener, I think he's actually better JBL. Have him do the Main Event/Smackdown nights, he's better than Tom Phillips/Cole/Saxton/JBL team. He was surprisingly funny in some spots with the Main Event commentary, probably bring that along, give him a little bit of free reign (Its is the B and C show) and I think he could be funny paired with a straight play by play like Philips or Cole or even Renee
