Just watched the Goldberg MNW episode. I had to laugh when they started talking about the downfall of WCW like they do every episode. John Cena called him a one-dimensional character and Jim Ross said that WCW couldn't create compelling stars. I had the :merchant: because I couldn't believe the audacity of them.

At least Goldberg had the guts to turn heel after all his popularity.

There's a Goldberg episode?

I'm watching Y2J's segment on the Monday Night Wars and this is another reason why the Network isn't meeting its goal. They keep on selling WCW and ECW as these 2nd and 3rd rank rinky dink shows in comparisons to the Ol Mighty WWE. Every segment they had on this series had the family oriented and humble Vince Mchmahon going against the Evil Ted Turner Regime funded WCW and they potrayed the company as if it really didn't create any moments or meant jack shyt until Hogan signed his name on the Turner Contract. Never mind the fact that WCW was seen as the #1 promotion for 3 years.

They also acted as if WCW as a company was running around like headless chickens until they found the NWO angle and turned them into a powerhouse over night. It doesn't help matter that you had Chris Jericho basically burying the other feds by saying "Every other belt, every other classic match I've had on other feds doesn't mean anything If I dont make it here"

But yet isn't having the whole ECW and WCW library at the palm of your hands the main selling point of the Network? This is exactly why the Network isn't hitting its mark, How you supposed to draw new fans and yet you're burying the other Feds every other week?

The biasness is laughable. So Vader, Cactus Jack, Ron Simmons, Lex Luger, Sting, Harlem Heat, The Giant, DDP, Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko, Goldberg, Pillman, didn't exist?

to be fair Vader, Cactus Jack, Ron Simmons was all before the MNW..this series solely focuses on Vince vs Eric Bischoff

:mindblown: Shane Douglas is hanging kidman, like literally from the top rope and Kidman feet isn't touching the floor. Franchise has his back turned and the referee is just waving him off and yelling stop. instead of simply pulling kidman down

These Rivalries/War shows aint nothing but a bunch of recycled DVD material :beli:
Yea, I hate this recycled shyt that they package differently and advertise like it's some new shyt, but to be fair they have basically said EVERYTHING there is to be said about the MNW over the last decade on all their DVD releases  the only episode that felt remotely new and intriguing was the cruiserweight edition of MNW, I really fukked with that one.
