So after Macho nails Hogan with the title and puts Liz in her place Hogan's buddy Beefcake shows up and Mach fukking decks him. I forgot all about that random ass shyt.

yeah LMAO that never makes the clips usually unless you watch the whole thing...he DESTROYS beefcake, just to make sure he's not even part of the fued...macho never said his name again during that time

My nikka was commentating on a DDP vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan match for the Lord Of The Ring ring that DDP had and Duggan lost and dude goes "DDP leaves with the ring and the only ring Duggan has is the one in his tub" shyt caught me so off guard I had to laugh

I think Tony Schiavonie is partially the reason Heenan never did well early on, before he later became an NWO-hater/WCW hugger. Tony never really pushed back against Heenan's quips the way Monsoon did. As quick witted as Heenan was, Monsoon's annoyance with him worked perfectly b/c he created new jokes on the spot.

Absolutely. Schiavone needed to be a springboard for his jokes and wasnt. So Heenan didnt try.

Low key one of the funniest most awkward moments I've seen from Ventura is after the opening of WM5. They have Rockin Robin singing the national anthem and I'm sitting there thinking how horrible she was. So after she's done they cut to Monsoon and Ventura and Jesse just cuts in with "I'll tell you something, she better keep her daytime job. She better stick to wrestling."

one of my fav low key fukkery moments: end of 1996 king of ring championship match....after hbgoat beats bulldog, Owen hart and his tacky suit hits the ring and tries to jump the gawd.....hbk slaps the figure 4 on Owen while simultaneously holding the bulldog in a small package rollup

two things I've been reminded about Bobby Heenan since watching the network

1. He was funny on commentary but a lot of his jokes were hit or miss. Some of them were crickets worthy

2. He is one hell of a salesman. He can turn a PPV with a WOAT card into a must order event.
