Westmenster Dog Show... i forgot about that shyt lmao... used to hate USA for that shyt b... :snoop:

Breh I remember being bored as hell that Monday night and my pops hit me with why aren't you watching wrestling? which led me to discovering Nitro. As youngin seeing Hogan and Lex bout to square up was truly a:gladbron: moment.

old ass nikka... lol nah i was too broke to afford cable when RAW/Nitro was in it's early stages...

Had to watch Superstars and Worldwide on Saturday. I didn't get Cable till Bret was in his Heel run. I was such a mark for Bret I still couldnt boo him, I used to be mad at the fans for booing him.

This Monday Night Wars show was pretty good tonight tho, we all know the story but it still had a few cool tidbits.

I feel you... when I stayed with moms during the summer she didn't keep cable during that time of the year so like you I had to pretty much watch WWF Superstars and WCW World Wide/ Pro to keep up lol. But yeah this is probably my favorite original program on the network just off the nostalgia alone.

im watching Saturday Night Main Event (Episode 11) dope fukking 2 out of 3 falls match between The British Bulldogs vs. Heart Foundation... i dont know how much u into old school wrestling tho.

The Dynamite Kid and Benoit are so similar, the mannerisms, kicks, snap suplex, down to the selling. It's really eerie to watch.

It's not about the cheap fanbase. .who wants to reup knowing Cena having a Hitler grip on the title? More proof of Cena not being a real star.

Blame Cena for everything.

Fans weren't buying this shyt with Daniel Bryan as champ and focal point.

It don't matter who holds the belt, the broke ass fanbase was underestimated

Wrestling was just better in the 80's, I mean shyt's still dope, now if you just watch it for the entertainment/circus aspect. But back then :wow:, everything was still so surreal and believable.

Was watching the ending to Great American Bash 89 with Flar/Sting and Muta/Funk brawl and it just seemed so much more fun. So less of a presentation.

Dudes were just winging it brawling, Flair's hair red and face green from the Muta spit, and shyt just felt like the wild west. Then Flair cuts a 30 second promo to close the show which kills the 15minute promos we get to start Raw everyweek.

The more unkempt wrestling was back then, it added to the atmosphere of it being unpredictable and fun. It's just like Raw last night, and I love this Ambrose Rolllins feud, but the ending of that show was known the second the main event was announced.

11 million ppl have the WWE app.

They only need 1 million plus for the Network to break even w/ the PPV costs. The fan base isn't broke and the broke ppl arent needed. People spend 80-100 dollars for live show events. It just takes time to get ppl to move

The Network was advertised poorly. Wrestling fans dont care about watching wrestling on their phone/laptop. They wanna see it on their TV and WWE didnt seem to realize that at first as being the main focal point. The other thing is the launch was bad w/ all the errors and Network not working properly.

The amount of ppl on twitter who are enjoying the free trial seems to be better/more positive than the other free trials.

That and they need to get cracking on shutting down free streams

That app is free, who gives a fukk how many people got it.

I think you kinda got the idea twisted of who is paying to see these shows, a lot of the customer base is parents taking their kids there. Little kids get their fill of wrestling 2 nights a week, they ain't itching to see the AWA tape library.

Think about this site alone, we know there isn't 100% of us subscribing, yet we're all adult fans who probably can afford $10 a month. So why don't all of us have it.

Cheap ass fanbase

The WWE app is free, but the app itself is the "gateway" to the Network on smart phones, tablets, etc....so if ONLY 10% of the app fanbase subscribes, then it's a success. I dont even have the WWE app and I'm on the Network thru Roku/PS3. So even less than 10% of the 11 mil ppl could subscribe and it'd be a success.

Everything I said remains valid and again, shut down these streams as best you can. There's ppl who claim to be real fans and won't spend a dime going to a show, or the Network etc. Some will budge, some wont. But against, you don't need the majority for it to be successful. In the twitter age, all ppl do is go on twitter and look for a link to a ppv.

Your logic of fans at events is WAY off. Yeah theres kids there, but it's not the majority. Do you not watch TV and see the crowd demograhic? So what if kids dont want to see AWA, there's Slam city on there, there's current programming for younger fans AND programming for older fans.

The one reason I want this thing to succeed is that the WWE, for once, is doing it's fans a HUGE favor with this Network. For years, we've been fleeced at an insane $60 costs for PPV's(of which I never ordered any or even watched for free. I just didnt watch ppvs at all) and I can understand why ppl watched streams at that price, and they found a way to do it on their own for $10, BUT it requires the fans to get on board. If this thing is a success EVERYBODY wins.

Also, I think they need to add an option for a flat $60 fee AND a $10 a month option. I'd rather pay $60 up front personally and be done with it rather than look at my statement and see $10 coming out every month.

I been going to events for the past 5 years. I probably make about 2 a year, and it's usually a lot of families.

You really think fam is paying to see Slam City? Honestly?

I agree with you about the people claiming to support the shyt but can't drop $10 and go streamsurfing. But ya know they`ll never completely shut down those streams, so this is the alternative, make it cheap enough to afford every PPV and these crumbdusting bums still can't shell out a 10 spot.

I`m with you 100%, if you're a fan you need to support this and want it to win.

Because it's a fans dream, fukk the other shyt, if you don't find value in this and you want it to flop, it's back to trash ass streams and still dropping over 120 a year on ppvs with no digital service and no original programming

No, I'm saying they have non-wrestling programming on there for all ages. In addition to new PPV's, a 30 year old might want to watch WM 3, etc.....a 10 year old might want to watch Slam City or Superstars. Neither are watching what the other is watching, but the content has to be there.
