It's easy to fantasy book in retrospect (and plenty have already done this exact scenario), but man WWECW could've been amazing if things lined up better:
Angle doesn't have to leave for TNA
RVD doesn't get arrested/suspended
Benoit tragedy doesn't occur
Push Lashley on SD instead & focus on Punk in ECW (also keep Big Show outta there)
Put Rey in there as opposed to being a jobber on SD (wouldn't mind the Chavo feud taking place in ECW & let's say Rey doesn't get injured irl)
Keep the originals and only have WWE stars brought in as elitist heels like JBL & William Regal
Sign at least one between AJ Styles/Samoa Joe/Christopher Daniels
Get Foley & Funk to work a few part-time matches in the first couple years (then transition Foley to some sort of on-screen role)
Keep Hardys on the brand longterm
Things don't go sour with the Dudleys and they manage to bring them back for the reboot
ECW is more successful, therefore Heyman stays
