The former head of creative for Monday night RAW, Brian Gewirtz, who had been with the company for about 15 years, gave WWE his notice a few weeks ago. Gewirtz had been working as a consultant and working from home after being fired as the head of creative for RAW in 2012. He was then sent home by his replacement, Eric Pankowski.
Gewirtz would be called to TV when The Rock would be doing something for WWE as the two have worked together for many years.
Gewirtz said his goodbyes at the June 29th Raw TV taping in Washington, DC. The reason for his departure is because he accepted a job in Seven Bucks Entertainment, which is The Rock’s production company.
