we got folks getting mad at other posters cause they voted for someone they didn't like...get upset despite the fact they didn't damn well vote and act like

when the results come in

“but you didn’t vote for who I wanted you to vote for!”
(checks under the votes and that user is nowhere to be found as even voted )

Now people are making alias to change the voting that is weird as hell

“but you didn’t vote for who I wanted you to vote for!”
(logs into multiple alias accounts in order to rig the poll )

This was meant to be for fun

this is why TSC can’t have nice things

there's two options we can go with moving forward that'll be fair to everybody

we can start banning alias votes now but if we do then Kairi and Zelina both advance to the next round since the aliases caused them to lose

or we could have all results for round 2 stand as is and we'll start banning alias votes next round

either way we the aliases but y'all let me know what we should do

This the most logical and fair way IMO

Any poll that was decided by less than say 5 votes and had the known fake alias votes that decided the outcome should be overturned

I go for the 2nd option. I’m not tryna recalculate anything.

Do a Florida, ban the aliases and recount the votes, then see who is the actual winner. If a first round match-up is revised and is affecting the second round (as it has already been done), we should redo the second round with the correct line-up.

Just glancing at the three polls in question,

- 3 known alias votes cost Zelina to lose

- 5 known alias votes cost Kairi to lose

- and so far 9 known alias votes are causing Torrie to lose at the moment (the real vote count should be 54 to 47)

It's not even the fact that they're alias that is the biggest problem. Them voting one way to overturn the polls makes it clear they're coming from one person and or it's coordinated.

Do a Florida, ban the aliases and recount the votes, then see who is the actual winner. If a first round match-up is revised and is affecting the second round (as it has already been done), we should redo the second round with the correct line-up.

Since you’re gonna start de-counting alias votes, give a warning in the OP. Dudes are gonna be when they see someone won in the end, but had less votes overall.

It became obvious in the last few polls (particularly this current one) that the alias accounts started rigging the polls. 9 alias votes rushed in today to flip the outcome of this one

It’s an easy fix. Just don’t count them / subtract them and move on. No one should be shocked when they see the real vote count at the end
