Talking TAG TEAM WRESTLING, Tales From the Indies with TOMMAY, and Your Voicemails!

This week's E&C Pod is a special one, as the guys take an in-depth, extended look at tag team wrestling. The origin, how things evolved, then devolved, then evolved again, and amazing stories from their time as tag team wrestlers. I won't ruin anything, but there's some great advice from Stone Cold Steve Austin in there (the real one), Edge talks about nearly teaming with a former IC champ to create a "New" version of an old, legendary tag team, and Christian reveals what it took for him to finally cut off his long hair.

And before that, we have some of your voicemails, including one that's, um, interesting? Plus TOMMAY returns to the show to talk about his Australia trip and reclaim his segment from Hobo Hank.

I'm just pulling up to say Rosenberg is wild wack and Cheap Heat is trash now.

Also, I think there is still a market for a good wrestling pod. All of the ones I try to listen to - Prichard, Smart Wrestling Fan, Voices of Wrestling, etc just lack something.

Even Taz's show is better than Cheap Heat nowadays.

I don't know if it says more about WWE or about him that Rosenberg works for them and doesn't even watch Raw/Smackdown beyond a couple of highlights so Greg has to fill him in on what's happening every week.

Greg never has any opinion on the shows other than 'Um, I uh, I liked it' and kisses Rosenbergs corny ass at every turn, telling him how great that wack Network show is. And that 'delicious chicken' shyt is wild c00nish.

That pod fell off hard because they're both phoning it in every week.

Fell of after Shoemaker left as I mentioned in the OP, then Brian Campbell came and they got back to form, after he left it fell off HARD like you said.

I actually did listen to the CFO interview, but Cheap Heat has been majorly repug since Campbell bounced.

Side note, on the new Masked Man, which is way better than cheap heat, Shoemaker was talking about a Hannibal Burress bit where he auto tune sings about wrestling fans, but i can't find that shyt anywhere. Any help?

For weekly review podcasts in my opinion The Masked Man is the best

The other shows have the hosts playing too many gimmicks or not letting the black people speak

Something to Wrestle With is the hands down the best retrospective podcast
