I had no idea at the time this was it. The way it ended and there was no mention of it being the last time Austin would wrestle. I was at my brother in laws house and everyone was confused.

I didn't realize it when I was younger but looking at this match now and how The Rock was pretty much dominate in this match its clear as day that Austin was on the way out

Yeah Austin was in it early, but rock kept taking control over and over. I think they did that because of the condition Austin was in, but it told a really good story too.
