TSC Tag Teams/Stables Evaluation #60: The Hardy Boyz/Team Xtreme

There’s so many damn versions of the Hardy boyz that it’s hard to properly rate them.

There’s the original hardy boyz run with classic TLC matches and ladder matches. But relied hard on gimmicks. I give them an 8.

Then they break up, version 1 matt hardy was trash to me but I enjoyed Jeffs single run. I give it overall 6 because matt lowered the overall score.

Then there was years on the indy circuit and early TNA years were Matt was shytty and Jeff was drugged up. I give that era 0

Then there was another run with TNA where they had classic matches as a tag team and singles and then the “broken” era which is easily a 10.

edge & Christian & the dudleyz are overrated too.

gotta go with 10 cause these dudes influenced my childhood pretty heavily

i used to jump off sofas and do swanton bombs on nikkas while everybody else was hitting stunners and rock bottoms

also they were easily my most played tag team on video games, me and my cousin used to go on long ass streaks defending the tag team titles with them on the first Smackdown game

They gotta hold this 10.

Them, Edge and Christian, and the Dudleys had people legit checking for tag team wrestling in the late 90s/early 2000s.

They've managed to maintain some form of relevancy some 20 years later without doing the usual tag team thing of just doing their old shyt and acting like time hasn't advanced at all. To the point where when WWE brought them back and just had them do that, people quickly got bored with it.

Although as a side note, bytch ass Michael Hayes gets COMPLETELY forgotten for going through a midlife crisis phase and dressing like them when he was their manager.
