I’m an unabashed late era WCW mark, because as garbage as it was, it was atleast interesting. And these guys had a sizable push at that time. Out of all like, 8ish of them, only a few were any good at all, but I atleast admired the attempt WCW made at pushing them. It was perhaps a few years too late, though. Had they maybe got the big push late 98, early 99 they could’ve maybe developed into something more worthwhile by the time they actually debuted. In a way, they’re very similar to the 02 OVW class, where a major fed debuts a bunch of blue chip talent at the same time. Minus the obvious gulfs in talent and the fact that basically everybody from the 02 class became legends, while the Natural Born Thrillers became...not the same.

Speaking to their talents, and what I thought, even as a kid, was that O’Haire and Jindrak had the most potential, while Sanders was good on the mic. Palumbo, Stasiak, Reno, etc. I didn’t think much of. They’re like a much less impactful version of the Nexus, who I think I had at a 6? So I’ll go 5 here.

The stable's name is low-key :leon: :whew:

O'Haire could've been something, and Johnny the Bull was ridiculously strong.

That's about it, though. I know they were considered a relatively big deal but not much is memorable about them.

This is probably the most fitting comparison more than anything else I’ve seen. Just throwing a bunch of guys out there all at the same time and seeing what sticks.
