It got unwieldy after a while but at its apex, the corporation was dope as hell. Much like dx, it worked better when it was fewer members and the focus was laser. It was good for Vince to have a group of people around him to help him take on Austin and then take on rock. Also, the rock swerve in 98 alone gives the corporation high ass marks. That shyt was and is beautiful and a work of genius.

The corporation helped cement Vince McMahon as one of the greatest heels in wrestling history if not the greatest

It worked when it was everyone protecting the crown jewel in the Rock, with Cokeboy and Puffy running the show.

After Rock’s face turn and the whole Undertaker/Higher Power/Corporate Ministry shyt is when it went south tbh.

Still, I give it a 10 only because Corporate Rock is my favorite character of all time. The theme music, Versace shirts, ignant ass sideburns, the Mankind feud >>>>

Yeah heel rock from 98/99 and heel 97/98 Shawn are my two favorite wrestlers ever and fav versions of those guys. I was a rock mark as a 12 year old and that character is why

7. The idea was great and they had the right characters: Rock as Corporate Champ, Shamrock as the enforcer, Bossman as the Head Goon, Vince and Shane in control, but their actual life as a stable (before Corporate Ministry) was really short and there's just a bunch of Russo stuff that they went through that I didn't think they lived up to the potential that they should have. The Rock was a 10 in this role, but like the later version of the nWo they had to many people join. Kane, Test, Chyna, Big Show, Triple H? It was just too much. Should've just kept it at Rock, Shamrock, Bossman, and Test.

Bossman is the BEST head goon ever. Well maybe second best. Arn is probably the best

If you told me Big Bossman was going to comeback to WWF in 1998 with a prominent role, I would've shytted on that idea. But him coming back in all black with his role being Vince's goon actually made it work.

They were doing magic with characters during that era man. A lot of that love has to go to Russo. No character is too small and no wrestler is too weak to get love

Yeah, Russo during that time had his hits and misses. But It was great for midcarders. I just wished he and Vince McMahon were a little more patient. We didn't need random turns here and there or random non-sense.

Turning people every other week has always been a Russo staple.
