The whole Colon feud is on youtube breh :wow:

I love the Texas Bullrope and Cage matches but honestly just watch the whole thing as it is fukking outstanding and shows how crazy Puerto Rico was as a territory. And Hugioto Savinovich rocking that mullet and calling some of the matches too :banderas: @The Rainmaker

Matchguide « Stan Hansen « Wrestlers Database « CAGEMATCH - The Internet Wrestling Database

This is a nice list to check out. I'm going to try to post some of the matches in this thread throughout the week.

I think Alex Wright is a decent midcarder, but LOL at him being better than HHH

I haven't seen enough of Hansen to rate him, just a few WCW matches, which [pronbably isn't his prime, and a few clips of Japan stuff.

I was thinking of adding "Dr. Death" Steve Williams to the requests. Would people here be interested in a thread?

I missed Stan Hansen's WWF run. But I saw part of his WCW and AWA runs and I thought they were pretty average but his AJPW run was amazing hes one of the better brawlers and his Western Lariet was dope take on Ax Bomber/Clothesline. A couple of negative thing about his run would be that his style could be repetitive and he was in AJPW with Generational talent but he was able to get over and stay over for years. overall I give him an 8.5/10 a perfect upper card Heel and if needed he could be a short-term champion

Here's one of my favorite Stan Hansen matches

I think it might be time to throw in a bret Hart, rock, hulk hogan, or Steve Austin in the mix

Agree with this

They’d get a load of votes as opposed to this thread where about 15 people have voted because most people ain’t seen him enough to form an opinion

Can’t see anyone but Rock, Austin or Savage dethroning King Kurt

Great Khali would be interesting to see if he’d dethrone Sandman as WOAT

Edit: @mrken12 how we not had Mark Henry yet? Don’t make him put you in the hall of pain

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
legend, tho ill give him a 9.5 even tho he made up with what he lacked with his great brawling style. i got into him super late but have watched tons of his matches and they were all great. def top 10 wrestler that started in the 70s.

him and brody set the bar for being a true independent contractor and being stars outside the big states feds.i put him the the same class as brody, terry funk, hogan, abdullah the butcher, sheik, andre etc where the guys were stars all by themselves and could go anywhere and draw main event money.

he helped set the japanese trend that guys like bam bam, vader, steiners, etc would continue

sadly that spot is now held by the omegas, young bucks of the world.... complete 180

i actually watched the match where he broke brunos neck. shyt was brutal. also can never forget popping vaders eye out.

hearing wrestlers shoot on getting knocked/cut the fukk up by his cow bell cuz homie blind as a bat and would swing it everywhere and hit EVERYONE from wrestlers to fans alike is always a laugh.

digging at the bottom now :what:

negged for disrespecting a legend. see below what you deserve

holy shyt. one of the most devastating LARIAT's in the game

I’m for this. Rock I’d be Leary of, since I’m sure we can all see how that topic would go, but the others would be interesting. With Hulk, would people take into account just his work or his real life (aka being a piece of shyt) dealings too? Steve Austin is held in much higher standing here but he’s also open to an interesting discussion. With Bret the only drawback I can see is the Kliq Stan’s coming into the topic and trolling :manny:

I can't do a Hogan one for obvious reasons. A Stone Cold thread could be done. A Shawn Michaels thread is out of the question. A Rock thread would turn into a "let's agitate R=G thread" so I can't really do one. A Bret Hart thread would do pretty well despite the Kliq groupies.

I think rating Tag teams could work also.
