Giving him a 7 for pretty much the same reason I gave Taz a 7. Raven was pretty ahead of his time his ECW and WCW years, but in the WWE (even though I'd honestly say he was more successful than Taz), he was just thrown in the Hardcore division, and never really got back out. Even when was a Sunday Night Heat mainstay making it his "playground, attire change and all, he never really rose above that. I was a fun of his though, even in the early parts of his TNA run. He was a very good talker, had a great gimmick (though eventually played out), and was decent in the ring, but his wrestling style perfectly matched his gimmick. The Evenflow DDT is probably my favorite version of teh DDT in general. Most of my favorite matches from him were in WCW, those triple threat tag matches revolving around Saturn, Benoit, Rey, Raven, and Kidman, and his feuds with DDP/Benoit. His gimmick was probably never met to rise above the midcard, but like midcard WWF acts that defined the Attitude Era, he was a midcard act that defined the Monday Night Wars in general. Everybody refers to the Flock as a dope stable that could have produced a lot more. Raven now may be hella ":flabbynsick::flabbynsick:", but from 94-01, he was pretty ":whew:". Even his Clockwork Orange matches and work as a manager in that Serotonin group was pretty good, and he played a part in how CM Punk developed. Raven clearly had an influence on his promo wise. I'd like to say he could have done more, but outside of the Flock, he probably did all he was supposed to do.

-Mic work/promos: 8. The best talker ECW ever had.

-Personality/gimmicks: 9. Played the cult leader/outcast role to perfection. Completely opposite to that, he did a great job playing the annoying loudmouth as Scotty Anthony/Flamingo and Johnny Polo. :pachaha:

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds): 7. He could wrestle if needed, but the Raven gimmick relied on garbage wrestling and he was pretty entertaining when it came to that. Feuds and matches with DDP, Benoit and Saturn in WCW were good. My favorite match he had in WWE (which was a pretty forgettable run) was against Big Show and Kane at WM.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores): 8.

I missed his run in ECW during that company's prime and only read about it online and in wrestling magazines (though I've since seen lots of his work thanks to WWE 24/7). I also missed out on his generally praised run during the early days of TNA. Raven was an entertaining talent who I always hoped would get a bigger push than he had while in WCW and WWE. I still think a full-blown Flock vs. nWo vs. WCW could've been amazing. Scott Levy just didn't have the personality to really fit in with the majors but he had the ability to be a top uppercard talent, IMO.

-Mic work/promos 9. This was his strong point. Dude could go on the stick. Handful of ECW promos and a few TNA promos that stand out. I liked his promo work best in ECW.

-Personality/gimmicks 8. Again, his strong point was a combo of his character and mic work.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) 6. This is where he drops. Hes not really known for his ring work or matches. There is not alot that stand out to me. Not a bad thing though. He kind of reminds me of Piper. Great promo and character but not known for his matches and ring work. His best match I think is the triple threat with DDP and Benoit. And VS Punk in ROH. His feud with Dreamer in ECW a classic. I liked the Sandman feud too.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores) Ill give him an 8. Solid.

A part of me feels like he paved the way for the smaller guys of today. He pretty much said fukk a cartoon gimmick and pretty much was reflecting Gen X. This type of attitude is the same Punk,DB, even Joe and Shinsuke have now. Just going with the flow of the time. But he definitely paved the way for those guys. He's a hardcore legend and has some really crazz moments. I'd give him a solid 7.5 over all. Him, RVD, Sabu and Tazz belong on the ECW mount Rushmore.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
8. Im suprised so many are rating him so high. I made a thread saying he was one of the most revolutionary wrestlers of his era and was told by many on here he was a nobody bum.

Good move set. Good gimmick. Great promos. Great stables. Great programs. Dope in ecw and wcw. If he had a chance to be in wwf what he was in wcw he coulda had great feuds with austin anf taker.

He was like the jake the snake of the mid/late 90s with his cryptic promos. Id rate higher if he haf a bigget splash on top.

Not having a flock vs nwo feud was a tragedy
