I'm 42 and I seen SGT Slaughter in his prime, I seen him wrestled in AWA and NWA, As a face he was 2nd behind Hulk Hogan in the Early and Mid 80's, SGT Slaughter was fukking Huge Face, when he went Heel in the WWF the shyt was so damn big, Talk Shows on the Big 3 network in the morning was reporting it, GI Joe Cartoon had to phase him out, his toys was getting burned, Kids crying and shyt, SGT Slaughter was getting death threat's

That's how Huge he was and how beloved his was before Vince turned him heel.

Had one of the GOAT feuds with Iron Sheik. I can't really count a ton of great matches from him (except the Sheiky baby matches), but he was solid enough. 7.
