Had to keep it real. I wasn't gonna give him a high grade just cause I'm supposed to. As a kid during the Attitude era, he was trash to me.

Maybe if I had seen more of his non-WWE work I'd hold him in higher regard :yeshrug:
erase his wwe work from your memory. they didn't use him right. Wcw and his japan work are all you need.

-Mic work/promos: 5. He character wasn't really built to do promos, which is good, because Vader wasn't anything more than average at doing them. Typical '80s-style "yelling" promos.

-Personality/gimmicks: 10. The ultimate monster heel. Amazing presence and was intimidating as hell.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds): 8. I haven't seen much from his career in Japan. Based off his career in the U.S., his best feuds were with Sting, Flair, and Cactus Jack.

Some of my favorite matches are Sting/Great American Bash '92, HBK/Summerslam '96, Dustin Rhodes/Clash of the Champions XXIX '94

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores): 9

Vader in Japan was on another level. The smoking mask was piff.:whew: I had the clip of the SSP attempt he tried on Hogan,:ooh: but it got deleted.:francis: He didnt get all of it tho,:mjcry: but the attempt:mjgrin:

Rumor was the Yakuza sliced him up with razor blade cuts. :merchant:And he couldnt go back.

Ban Bam is the greatest big man worker but Vader is right under him and his heel WCW run was great. The hilarious 93 storyline for Starrcade with him and Flair...lol

Yep, Bam Bam is the only person I can think of to put above Vader.

Did they ever run angles against each other? Not seen them if they did.

City of Angels :blessed:
-Mic work/promos - 2
Can't remember any great promos from him, he was serviceable for a big man who just screamed random shyt, but that's about it.

-Personality/gimmicks - 6
Never really had a gimmick, but had a great persona as a big badass monster.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) - 8
One of the GOAT big man workers.

-Overall: 7

A legend, one of the GOAT big men ever. Never became quite as big of a star as he probably should have been though.
