You're right, but gun to head The Rock, Undertaker, and Stone Cold probably wouldn't fukk with wrestling like that either. Rock and Austin both would've continued to play football if they could've and all 3 have said they would've gotten into MMA if it was big at the time. Somebody like HBK or CM Punk dreamed of being a wrestler their whole life but that doesn't make them better or more significant than Rock or Austin.
I think Brock could've been just as good or better than Angle if he stayed. I'd much rather watch his first couple years than Angle's first couple. Angle's one of my all time favorites to watch in the ring, but physically the things Brock used to do were more impressive, he had a lot more potential as a draw (that he fulfilled in MMA).
Mic skills? They're not necessary for everybody. Most people are going to be interested in watching Brock Lesnar wrestle without having him talk. He's already more of an interesting character than most guys who are decent at promos from his presence/aura/look. The "mic skills + in-ring workrate divided by two= wrestler quality" shyt the internet runs with is not reflective of what most of the fans or I react to.
I get your viewpoint breh.
You are correct Rock and Austin did in fact have other goals that they wanted to achieve but did not succeed in prior to getting into wrestling. And there are different mentalities like you pointed out about they guy who jumped into pro wrestling and became successful and a dude like HBGoat who dreamed about being a wrestler since day one.
Brock is one of the most physically gifted dudes to ever lace up wrestling boots. I loved that "shoot" promo shyt he did for his match with Cena. Idk breh I just expected more out of the motherfukker in the long-run being a more dynamic overall wrestler.
Unfortunately this fukking thread is based on a hypothetical scenario of if Brock stayed in wrestling and never switched lanes.
But
He still ain't fukking with Kurtis though
