I had it a draw but could have understood it going 115-113 for either guy.
The one thing I don't get is the whining from GGG stans like this was some sort of highway robbery. GGG, his trainer and his fans all whined that Canelo ran in the first fight and if Canelo had manned up then GGG would have KO'd him. So Canelo stands right in front of Golovkin for 12 rounds and Golovkin performed worse than he did the first time they fought.

And Golovkin storming out the ring and refusing to be interviewed after the fight was a major league ho move on his part.
Performed worst? First half..definitely..second? At one point, he almost whooped Canelo's ass big time to end the round. Never seen Canelo with that many consecutive powers shots. He was getting tired again.

GGG won both fights, even though this one was close enough to go either way.

I think myself and many others are mad that Canelo ALWAYS gets favorable cards in Vegas, even against Mayweather.

This fight was clear as day....
and this is why i dnt watch boxing with ppl and choose not to talk boxing with ppl...
They dont know what the fukk they talking about... they either just like1 fighter over the other or letting the commentators sway make their opinion in there heads.
Most ppl seem to have ggg winning either rnds 7 to 11... i personally had him taking only rnds 7 to 10...
That's it... that slow muthafuka didnt get a round for 6 fukkin rounds... canelo was in his grill, pressing and landing the cleaner shots, combos...just like the 1st fight. (ggg only got the draw in the 1st fight because canelo was on his back foot)
Ive seen canelo get favorable decisions (i.e. the Trout fight.. smh) but this wasnt 1 of them... ggg isnt a talented fighter. and he didnt fight anybody b4 canelo.
Actually, toward the end of the Jacobs fight, u started to see the cracks in ggg's armour

Dude, GGG outlanded Canelo in both fights and he won the first round almost unanimously, so I don't know where you got that he didn't win a round for the first 6 rounds.

If you're a hater just say so, but virtually every paid boxing expert had GGG winning or a draw.

Now, some fighters I saw had it for Canelo, but all the analysts who get paid to analyze fights generally saw it for GGG

Im a hater? bro... im a fighter and i just luv the sport... i could care less who wins.... i just wanna see a good fight.
I didnt see any cards... u said 1st round "almost" unanimously... theres 3 judges...so ur saying 1 didnt have him winning it? cool,... either way, that muthafuka ain't win no more rounds til the 7th and stole a couple after that... the 10th being his best.
GGG isnt good bro... that dude is slow and apparently is a knock out puncher who cant knock top tier dudes out... who are right there in his face all nite...
He definitely didn't land many clean power shots. all that was canelo... and the person pressing the fight and making the action was canelo,..
ppl see what they wanna see... so it doesnt matter..,
but i guarantee this... and this will prove everything I saying about ggg...
he better go back down in class of opponents.... because theres young, better fighters than canelo that will eat him alive and embarrass him

Claim a guy that won 300 amateur bouts and had 20 title defenses at middleweight "isn't good", brehs:snoop:
Brother... he is not talented... like alot of black fighters are talented. he is not.. he is a heavy puncher...
Who has he fought before canelo that we can sit here and say, yup... that guy was a real talented fighter and he beat him?
I didn't mean not good as he cant beat alot of dudes, hes proved he can... but he is a class below guys that we think of as talented...
and thats what i thought most ppl would take away from the canelo fights... how 1 guy just looks better as a fighter than the other guy.
one guy isnt quick or slick and is not putting real good combos together. and the other guy is...
1 guy suppose to be aggresssive and have Power, but the other guy is backing him down and landing the harder shots :mindblown:

Take into account this fight was supposed to happen like 3 years ago..it seemed like Canelo wanted to avoid him in his prime. Roy Jones or Mayweather can fight anybody at any point and they win in their primes. 25 year old Canelo looked like he was ducking this guy and that just dont make too much sense. Especially since GGG is a come forward power fighter..he would been stopped had he went through and actually fought Ward.

So, he won 300 amateur fights becaue he's a heavy puncher? Do you know how amateur fights work?

Seems to me, you don't know how a pressure fighters work.

GGG has the best jab in boxing, a granite chin, and knows how to cut the ring off.

And I love how love to forget that GGG is a 36 year old middleweight and that none of the so-called "talented" people wanted to fight him until he was 35.

Canelo, Sergio Martinez, Miguel Cotto, Danny Jacobs, Billy Joe Saunders, and everybody else avoided him like the plague until it was obvious that he had lost a step.

And I agree with R=G that Ward woudl've beat him, but that's because Ward's the greatest fighter alive and was the bigger man, but you're just a hater.

You told on yourself when you brought race into it. You're one of those dudes that hate GGG just because White people like him

I thought GGG may have got the edge on the first fight with just how flat out aggressive he was...and I felt Canelo had the edge on the 2nd with the damage he was doing with the power punches. I could also very well see it going the other way on both fights...Max Kellerman had the best take...where he said leaving the fight he didn't feel there was a clear winner...thats what this all boils down to. Its so close and the only way I think we could ever accept an ending to this great rivalry is to see a clear winner. Like a dominating master class fight or a knockout. These dudes may have to fight to the death...these dudes may have to fight forever...and I for one am wit dat.
