No, you just make the likes of Apple doing the job by entering the console race with a cheaper console with the same graphical capabilities, pointing out that Sony is an elitist out-of-touch company that doesnt respect their customers in times of economic hardships. A campaign like that would devastate Sony if it was done 100% correctly.
People say that Nintendo is 'kiddie' but that 'kiddie' company is opening amusement parks as well as being onw of the most profitable companies on Earth.

No, I’ve actually argued microsoft leaving would open the door for someone else to come in. Thats the competition everyone’s asking for, sometimes you lose.
