America has set its standard. Not even hiding it.

They’re going to dismantle a whole bunch of shyt we’re going to be spending the next 30 years fixing.

A lot of people won’t see America reach its peak that we once had this lifetime. shyt is crazy.

This is why I keep thinking Trump is the appropriate president for where we are as a country. :francis:

As a country we desperately push against tact, against structure, decorum. It’s why his numbers are staggering with youth and young men. We are morally fukked so of course the people want a morally bankrupt leader.

LOL how is this legal?

Shouldn't FBI be doing their own checks?
Because these are just "norms," hand-shake agreements, and not legal requirements. There are no binding obligations to flush out "bad" nominations. It ultimately comes down to the president's authority, personal ethics, and the ethics of the nominee.

But if the President is the enemy, and he has shown to be that prior, shouldn't the federal agencies be ready to take him down?

There has to be a bridge too far, for the United States own self preservation?

Like if they know he's working with spies, they just do nothing?

All the federal agencies can do is investigate and report to congress. It would be up to congress to do something about it. And a lot of them are just as compromised as Trump. The ones who aren't, would have to raise enough noise, and get enough people to care, to do something about it. As far as his cabinet, the congressional confirmation process is supposed to serve as a check on presidential nominations. That's why he is trying to go around it, and make recess appointments. He can use those to temporarily bypass Senate confirmation to avoid that safeguard.

Nah
If the enemy is inside the house and has no rules, at some point you have to stop playing by the rules too
