I hate Trump and his supporters with a passion but at this point they are proving just how quick on their feet they are. There’s a deflection for every possible misstep from their camp, and every establishment liberal fail breathes new life into their movement. The right has drowned out the left in online presence and it’s depressing as the left used to control the conversation until Twitter changed the game. What the hell can the left do at this point?

punch nazis and win elections

Neither of which actually makes the country better or improves things for the Black community.

The establishment left has had DECADES to prove that they were on the side of regular people and their own base. Instead, they've propped up Wall Street and warmongerers and their own establishment. They've given us this Neoliberal crap that EVERYONE can see is making the world worse and ain't doing shyt for us. And it's finally hurting them where it matters - their base is not supporting them in elections. Too many Black voters stayed home in the last election because they had stopped believing that Democrats were ever going to change things for them, and too many working-class White voters switched sides in the last election because Trump at least sounded like he was going to side with them rather than the elites. (He was lying, but at least he sold it to the idiots.)

The left needs to actually start DOING things that will make this country a better place for the 80-90% of the people that have been absolutely screwed by the NeoCons and NeoLiberalism of the last 37 years.

* Come up with massive, hard-hitting regulation against the finance sector that grounds their out-of-control growth to a halt and stops them from running and ruining the country.

* Reform the justice system and police so they stop shytting on Black people and poor people, and reign in their out-of-control violence.

* Stop letting corporations poison all our water and air and schools and everything else, and look like they actually want a clean world for future generations.

* Make health care affordable and accessible for everyone

* Reform the education system so that the testing idiots stop getting to control everything, the inner-city public systems get back on track, and university actually becomes affordable again.

* Knock down the military-industrial complex and its insane control of the US budget, stop bombing poor Brown and Black people in every corner of the globe, and start learning what it means to engage in the world with a peace agenda instead of a war agenda.

* Fix the Farm Bill so it stops propping up agribusinesses and some of the worst companies in the world (looking at you Monsanto) and replace it with a Farm Bill that actually supports family farms, Black farmers, sustainable farming practices and safe and healthy food.

This focus on "all we need to do is worry about winning" is what CREATED Trump. This "we got Black people and liberals in the bag so lets make an agenda that appeals to moderates and our financial backers" is what created the NeoLiberal dominance. Have you EVER heard Nancy Pelosi say an intelligent or useful thing in her life? She's there to win, nothing else. And this "win at all costs" agenda is what sold the country to Wall Street and then got the inevitible Trump backlash. Black politicians were some of the worst about it too, just lining up behind Hillary and her NeoLiberal agenda with the quickness in the primaries.

Where would the country be right now, if 40+ Black politicians on the national level had opposed Hillary and lined up behind an alternative, instead of just rubber-stamping her losing campaign for the establishment?

We need to work for good, instead of just working for power.

The right wing constantly adopts neoliberal language to delegitimize the left. "Privilege" "Safe Space" "Triggered" are all harmless words that were used by a fringe on Tumblr. The right now uses those words to paint the entire left as "snowflakes" but the majority of people don't just throw those words around in casual conversation. Their idea of "Free Speech" and "SJW's" is the ultimate red herring for their real racist, and terroristic motives. fukk White Nationalists and anyone equating the actual physical resistance to Nazis as the same as Nazis themselves.

Why? Clearly the OP has no idea what "PROOF" means....The list is all opinions, feelings and conjecture or outright fabrication...there is no finding of fact there .....................its all :trash:

RACISM>> the Belief in the superiority or inferiority of a race over another

PROOF>>>evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement

FACT>>True verifiable piece of information

now we got that cleared up lets wade through this cesspool of feelings ,idiocy and propaganda

Its NONSENSE..Muslim is NOT a racial group

Conjecture..The case was settled with no finding of guilt ... the facts were never determined

Unconfirmed allegations ..from someone who was paid for a story..the trump group has had THOUSANDS of people work there but no one will confirm this mans story..he remains the single source...WHY??

Does not meet the criteria for racism..he had an opinion..It may be wrong...or you dont like it but i dont see how or where he said anything about black people being inferior.

I saw the ads..he didnt mention a single word about their race..alot of NY residents felt the same way about the death penalty during the crime waves back then...Its the police who set those boys up and lied ....Did trump lock those boys up NO..did he testify in court against them NO

This actually proves the Gambino Mob is racist and sexist...not Trump....OMG the Mafia can be so racist..who knew

Anybody can be sued by anyone for anything.....thats NOT a fact....Post the verdict..the finding of facts... NOT the lawsuit...Oh wait

Are you SERIOUS...Having a book is proof that you read..I have read parts of Hitlers Mein kampf ..that doesnt mean im gonna be a black neo nazi anytime soon

Retweets are proof he has a twitter account.....he has millions of followers..some are bound to be sketchy

That is only proof that they prefer him to hillary...But it doesnt prove he shares their racist views...did he say he likes them??

Trump reportedly interrupted intel briefing to ask Korean American, "Where are you from?"

In the wake of President Trump’s comment about wanting to stop immigration from “shythole countries,” NBC News did a deep dive into Trump’s history of racist comments. The piece, published on Friday and written by Vivian Salama and Hallie Jackson, begins with an eye-opening anecdote about a White House intelligence briefing derailed by Trump’s racial issues:

A career intelligence analyst who is an expert in hostage policy stood before President Donald Trump in the Oval Office last fall to brief him on the impending release of a family long held in Pakistan under uncertain circumstances.

It was her first time meeting the president, and when she was done briefing, he had a question for her.

”Where are you from?” the president asked, according to two officials with direct knowledge of the exchange.

New York, she replied.

Trump was unsatisfied and asked again, the officials said. Referring to the president’s hometown, she offered that she, too, was from Manhattan. But that’s not what the president was after.

He wanted to know where “your people” are from, according to the officials, who spoke off the record due to the nature of the internal discussions.

After the analyst revealed that her parents are Korean, Trump turned to an adviser in the room and seemed to suggest her ethnicity should determine her career path, asking why the “pretty Korean lady” isn’t negotiating with North Korea on his administration’s behalf, the officials said.

A few thoughts on this anecdote, sourced to “two officials with direct knowledge of the exchange”:

  1. Being interrogated about your background is a kind of ordinary racism that Asian Americans often have to face. One’s boss interrupting a really important work event to do it is, as the Washington Post’s Brian Fung tweeted, “every Asian-American’s worst employment nightmare.”
  2. Think carefully about what the president is saying here. By asking her “where are you from” and not accepting New York as an answer, he’s implying that children of Asian immigrants can never truly be “from” America. This isn’t just simple bigotry; it feels like a rejection of the classic American “melting pot” ideal altogether.
  3. Trump was so distracted by the question of his briefer’s ethnic background that he interrupted a briefing on hostages held by a terrorist group in Pakistan to interrogate her about it. This suggests he wasn’t really paying attention to what she was saying — that racism literally distracted him from doing his job.
  4. Trump’s racism seems to make him a truly terrible manager. There’s no reason that being of Korean descent means an intelligence expert on hostage situations should be reassigned to North Korea, let alone put in charge of nuclear negotiations.
  5. Let’s not sleep on the sexism of calling her a “pretty Korean lady,” reducing a professional woman to her physical appearance.
  6. The intelligence community lags behind the rest of the government on racial diversity and gender equity. It is 10 percentage points whiter than the US government average, per a 2016 survey, and about 5 percentage points more male. This woman probably had to overcome a lot to get to where she ended up, and this is where she landed.
In sum: The president of the United States, the person who’s supposed to represent the best of the country, behaved in a fashion that would likely get a midlevel manager at a company fired. It’s just another day in the Trump White House.

At a March meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, Trump asked the elected officials if they personally knew just one member of his incoming cabinet — Ben Carson — according to two people in the room.

Carson, the only black member of Trump's Cabinet, had never served in Congress and spent his career as a surgeon. Trump found that surprising that no one said they knew him, the attendees said.

During that same meeting, a member relayed to Trump that potential welfare cuts would harm her constituents, "not all of whom are black." The president replied: "Really? Then what are they?"
