A lot of immigrants does not know or care too much about what happened in America's past. They come here to get what they can and provide for their family until they bow out. They also have strong communities who support them and visa versa. I appreciate the civil rights movement but I also grew up in the digital/Internet age so I heard and seen a lot of shady shyt that support the belief that the game is rigged so I'm not going to vote just to vote. I believe America changed drastically after JFK was assassinated and the power that a president hold is not as strong so he/she cannot make a difference if they even wanted to.
