Nothing jaw dropping about this to be honest, this is what your typical suburban white person thinks about the prospect of "undesirables" moving into their neighborhood.

In order to do so, white workers must be convinced to give up one form of privilege—the one that’s offered by the myth of racial superiority—in order to struggle alongside black workers. Solidarity, as a result, has been a monumental challenge, and white racism has often won the day. American history nevertheless offers us a variety of examples of workers choosing solidarity, often due to the leadership and perseverance of black workers and thinkers.
the mental gymnastics shes doing throughout this whole thing![]()
It's despicable. Not surprised by her comments. The white flight from the suburbs has started in the DFW area. Whites are moving to exurbia as more minorities move to the suburbs.
I work in Plano, Texas - an affluent white suburb in Dallas. It's an all the "Best ___" "Safest ____" list yet the INCREDIBLY SUCCESSFUL incumbent HAITIAN AMERICAN mayor who was backed by the police, fire fighters, chamber of commerce almost lost his re-election last week to an asian woman that can barely speak english because of a single issue - apartments.
Over the last 4 years, the mayor successfully lured big business to move their hqs to Plano - Toyota, Boeing, FedEx, etc....so to accommodate the influx of employees moving here he had a big plan to build apartments. Somehow that turned into a divisive issue - "the mayor is trying to bring section 8 people to Plano", "he's trying to turn Plano into Dallas", etc. So much coded language.Sad, despite how successful he's been in virtually every metric, the mayor had to squeak by a victory to a complete nobody who pledged allegiance to the far right.

You get it. Most poor (including poor whites) went for Hillary. It was the soccer and their over extended on credit husbands that voted for trump.Definitely. Trump's real base isn't poor whites, it's middle-to-upper class whites who convince poor whites that minorities are to blame for their ills.
Poor whites were actually slightly less likely to vote Trump than well-off whites.
But nikkas want to move there though! LOL man the minute some black people get money they move to places like this, and yet nothing changes.Cacs gon' cac!
turn the suburbs to landfills
...and they're off to Parker, Prosper, Little Elm, Marietta, OK, etc. They don't want lots of blacks and latinos in Plano (except for football) and that's what will happen with these new apartments. The suburbs get browner and white people leave. Not surprised by her comments. The white flight from the suburbs has started in the DFW area. Whites are moving to exurbia as more minorities move to the suburbs.
