There wouldn't be a outcry from the citizens of that country to let you stay illegally or anything. As far as these folks claiming refugee status or fleeing violence in their own countries, if anything black people in America have more of a claim to be seeking asylum elsewhere since we're constantly under attack from the dominant society with little to no help.
