Trump will eliminate the department of education. Schools telling history that America was built by slaves on stolen land won't receive money

They aren't trying to touch the Holocaust, you're right. As for slavery, look up some of the things pushed for by conservatives they want to 'All Lives Matter' the subject by talking about the Barbary trade Irish indentured servants. They talk of how American slaves 'benefitted' from slavery by 'learning skills'. They want to eliminate mention of 'white supremacy' and 'systemic racism'.

If the legacy of systemic racism still exists, it begs the question of what needs to be done about it.
The slaves didn't learn skills. It was the other way around. They taught skills. They taught blacksmithing, sailing, rice farming, shyt farming in general, cattle herding, carpentry, and almost anything else. White people, especially in the Carolinas, we're sent to learn from slaves.

These fukking losers are really trying to spin history.

The Truth
Surely you understand how the back-and-forth nature of this situation can be used to erode public trust, making it easier to discard the institution altogether, right? Trump appointed DeVos, who was a disaster for the department, leaving the next administration to waste time cleaning up the mess, which sets things back even further. He did the same with the NLRB, appointing business-friendly individuals who shifted support from workers to corporations in an effort to harm unionization. While the current administration has worked hard cleaned it up, the damage done has eroded public trust. And even if a new Secretary can reverse some policies, the constant shifts create delays and instability, making it harder to achieve long-term progress, which servers to hurt these institutions in the eyes of the public, thus making it easier to attack them or do away with them all together.
I was trying to rep you for having a basic, logical understanding of this part of the situation.

Im starting to think Trump fukked up the country just enough to probably get reelected OR if not, cause enough issues for the next administration that if he keeps spewing his rhetoric and placing blame on everyone but himself, people will believe it because most people are dumb af when it comes to politics like he is.
